We tried to recreate the nostalgic feeling of the classic Game and Watch consoles. On this project, we implemented the code logic, trying to use the same techniques that the limitations from the original console allowed, like using only primitives variables, having the sprites fixed the screen, etc. We were able to implement one sample game and the console clock function. For the future, we plan on creating an editor to easily enable people to create games for the engine, from a visual interface.

The goal of our project is to make it easier for COVID-19 patients to get a plasma donor easily & as soon as possible. It is so difficult to find a plasma donor who has recovered recently from COVID-19. Nowadays, it has been observed that COVID-19 patients look for plasma in several Facebook groups or just by posting randomly. Most of the time, it is so difficult to find a donor of a specific blood group. In this case, our project will help the patients finding a donor fast when they need it.

Description
This is a game of Rubik's cube and yes, It's 3D!
Additional Information
I am a Flutter fan and I just learned to play Rubik's cube. Then I wonder if I can write an app about it in Hack20. Flutter has a great graphics library but unluckily it only supports 2D. I use some matrix transform to simulate camera change in 3D, and manually calculate the depth of every surface of the cube.

4. OPTR - One Password to Rule
Description
How would you feel if you could recover all your credentials from memory? Easy to remember and impossible to guess unique passwords.
Additional Information
It's very difficult to remember your passwords, and we trust password managers too much. There are solutions around deterministic password managers, but they can present some challenges. However, we believe most of those challenges have to do with user experience. This allows you to easily recover all your passwords from one unique secure hash that is not shared with anyone. We thought it is an opportunity for the idea to join the Cyberpunk future. Build with Flutter, Riverpod, Hive, Secure Storage...
Ground Rules
We are minimizing the scope of how we want to tackle this problem, so it's essential we set some limitations and rules on how we will approach it.
Passwords should be compliant with the latest NIST guidelines.
We don't plan on creating passwords that are compatible with every single service out there. Some online services have unreasonable requirements. The 80/20 rule will apply in this case.
You should still use a password manager. This might seem controversial, however being able to remember all your password is great, but at least in the beginning, we will assume a password manager is used on a day to day routine.
Therefore the main focus on this is being able to recover all your password, when not having access to your password manager. i.e. Losing your master key, not having quick access when you need it, and etc.
Goal
The main goal initially is to be able to create a straightforward system in which you can recover your passwords from memory if it's ever needed.

Metro animation for the Flutter City. Dive into the colorful city watching the busy trains come and go.
Additional Information
We wanted to experiment with the combination of dynamically generated widgets and canvas shapes, all animated in real-time. The project was created using a mix of a Stack with randomly spawned widgets and a Custom Painter which handles the painting of all the metro lines, stops, and trains. The painting logic involves some math to calculate the train rotations and positions each frame. We created a custom shape called Cyber and we used google_fonts, flutter_spinkit, and animated_text_kit. Enjoy!

Additional Information
Modern social networks are great at providing us with instant gratification, and we all crave the dopamine rush that is opening Instagram and scrolling through hundreds of high-resolution images. But this makes scrolling through social media bland and disconnected, and you don't feel involved or social enough. Polargram makes social networking social again. Technologies used: Flutter for App (Flutter95 Widgets), Firebase Firestore & Functions, and Python for OpenCV image processing.

Try it: https://hack20-cdb64.web.app. As 90's kids, we always wanted to build a game but never got the chance to, until now. We used Flame (a simple 2d engine for Flutter). We wanted to achieve a true retro feel so the game does not load any graphic assets. All elements are drawn using canvas. Gravity is simulated for planet Earth and the Moon. We also support two distinct design styles retro (really old computers) and neon (Tron & Blade Runner inspired).

The idea of my app is to help shelters talk about themselves, introduce their wards, and find volunteer help. Users can choose a pet and take care of it, and later, maybe, take it home.

After reading the retro theme of the hackathon all we could imagine was that Nokia SMS sound. So we get the motivation from Nokia SMS morse code and after a lot of discussions we end up sticking on a decision to make a chat app for morse code. Morse code has great significance in our future and it played a great role in our past that perfectly fits both the themes. We have features like tap the message to get a vibration morse sensation and shake to translate. Used Flutter, Firebase, OCR, Google sign-in.

I never had a Gameboy handheld console but I played Gameboy games using an emulator in PC called Visual Boy Advance. So I recreated Gameboy using Flutter. It can load/unload cartridges which are Widgets in the app's source code! The system controls (d-pad, buttons) implementation are dynamic, so every cartridge controls do different things! We are motivated by the need to support the community with palliatives through donations of money or food. Thereby saving the planet.
Additional Information
We leverage on the 17 global goals which world leader decides as goals that can make the world a better place. We use firebase as authentication and flutter for the user interface. A webview was used to load the information of 17 global goals so as for people to know more about how they can save the world.

While forests are getting smaller and the world is in danger due to global warming, we wanted to support environmental organizations to increase trees by bringing a classic and very loved game from our past.
